In 1952 Pražák was commissioned to create  illustrations for the novel Cousin Bette by Honoré de Balzac. The drawings,  in the manner of the old masters, were in charcoal and most likely, ink.

1952 wurde Pražák damit beauftragt die Illustrationen zum Roman Cousine Bette von Honoré de Balzac anzufertigen. Die  altmeisterlich wirkenden Zeichnungen wurden mit Presskohle und wahrscheinlich Tinte geschaffen.
